CftBL hiscore!

A long time had passed since the pinball community in my town had met. I think it must be more than a couple of years since I saw some of them. I don't know what has gotten in the way; family, real life or lack of interest. That's why I was extremely happy when a friend invited us for a pinball night! His games have been out of reach for a year or so, while he was doing extensive construction / remodelling work to his house, but yesterday was the time for a grand reopening of his game room.

I guess we were 8 or 9 people, and we had a great time playing pinball and watching the instructional DVD Pinball 101.
What really made the evening for me though, was that I finally managed to get a good game on Creature from the Black Lagoon. CftBL has always been one of my favourite titles, but I never got more than 120-130 mill. I played some mediocre games before I suddenly found the creature, got super jackpot and ended up with a score far beyond my expectations. I didn't get GC, but the number one spot is good enough for me.

These pinball nights will be held every third week from now on. It will be a very nice winter indeed!
